OUTSIDE THE GATE MINISTRY
In Acts Chapter 12 we read about the Apostle Peter being locked up by Herod the King waiting execution the next day. There was a counseling session going on. Mary, the mother of John, and many others were gathered together to comfort each other on behalf of Peter's arrest. There are many families today that experience this same kind of distress when a loved one goes to jail, or prison, for whatever reason. Many don't know what to do, where to go, or who to talk to. We here here at Fountain of Life Fellowship believe in the family, and we know that things like this can happen to the best of us. We at FOLF want to help families make it through these seemingly hard times. So we have put together a support group here at FOLF called, "Outside The Gate Ministry." We will be meeting every other Thursday night here at FOLF at 7:00pm.(starting date to be announced) These are some things we offer...
1. Pastoral Counceling
2. Pastoral visitation to persons incarcerated upon request
3. Group sessions with others who have loved ones incarcerated
4. Family support and spiritual guidance
We have so much more to offer, please allow us to help you recover some of what you feel like you've lost.
Matthew 25:36 says, "I was in prison, and ye came unto me" Jesus said in Matthew 25:40 "Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."
